# What I'm Doing - S19

January 21, 2019

This post lists things I will be working on for Spring/Summer 2019.

This is the first of such posts, which I intend to do once every half-year, so perhaps I should also explain the motivation. Following my article on where I’m going, I want to keep a log of the things that I am doing, and I want this log to be online in case it is of interest to the reader.

• sherpa_41: A well-architectured, trivial browser engine, as I advertise it. I worked on this over the winter break and may tweak on it here and there, but the project is mostly complete. It is my most popular repository, which I am proud of.
• Numerical Analysis: I am going to self-teach numerical analysis this semester and take the formal class later. I am currently looking for a convenient MATLAB plugin for Jupyter Notebook to post and discuss my notes.
• Computer Graphics: Kinda like what I did with sherpa, the plan is to use existing guides to create a toy renderer.
• content will be linked as it develops

• Rust, Crystal: I thought about it, and I may want to try to contribute to Rust before Crystal. But either is an ambitious goal.
• content will be linked as it develops

• C++ad: A fitness model (but the ML kind) instagram account. This is a toss and a bit of a joke; we’ll see if it succeeds.
